Our mission is to ensure that residents and visitors to the area are aware of all that is happening around Lake Norman -- we offer a comprehensive Lake Norman Events Calendar and make promotions, sales and discounts at hundreds of area businesses accessible at the click of a mouse. We are big proponents of the concept of Buy Local. Not only do local businesses contribute much more on a relative basis to local communities than the "big box" establishments, they are what make our downtowns and shopping areas charming. Additionally, tune in to our weekly TV program! Tune in weekly at 5pm, Monday, Wednesday & Friday and twice during the weekend on Mi-Connection channel 4 for our program: Mi-Community Connection. This program is a great opportunity to provide important insights about the local area to a wide viewership. We feature interviews with local political and community leaders, highlight the arts and culture scene in Lake Norman, create awareness about upcoming community events, showcase new and interesting local business concepts, and provide tips on how to save money while enjoying all that Lake Norman has to offer.
